Black Rock Forest in Cornwall-on-Hudson. One or more walk will take place in each season. Come and enjoy nature and its treasures. Your Berner(s) will love it and everyone will get more than their daily recommended dose of exercise.

Compo Beach in Westport. Small beach, official off leash from October 1 to March 31, but a bit close to the parking lot especially at high tide.

Cove Island Park in Stamford. On-leash walking and unofficial off-leash beach access, although only in one small spot.
Parking lot access to everyone Fall to June 1. During Summer a permit or town residency is required.

Cranbury Park in Norwalk. Central location, easy access, and both open space and forest trails make this a favorite of locals.

Jennings Beach in Fairfield. Beach officially open to off leash dogs November 1 to March 31. Huge parking lot, clean water, and the occasional horses walking by just to remind our pups of their farm dog heritage. Horse droppings, yum!

Lake Mohegan in Fairfield. Great place to walk off-leash, with swimming opportunities in clean water (no dog washing needed afterwards).

Rowayton Dog Park in Rowayton, CT. Big clean park, with running water and poop bag dispensers. Unfortunately, very little shade.

Saxon Woods Park in Harrison. Trail walking, unoficially off-leash.

Stamford Dog Park in Stamford. Features two fenced-in runs, one reserved for smaller dogs.

Tod's Point in Old Greenwich. The park is open to dogs from December 1 to March 31. They must be on leash except on the beach below the high water mark where they are allowed off-leash.

Waveny Park in New Canaan. Spencer Run is a fenced-in run where dozens of dogs are interacting at any time of day.
