Great park with off-leash walking officially allowed. Access to lake water at several small beaches around two lakes connected by a river.
Park at either the main lot or at The Cascades lot.
Merritt Parkway (Rt 15) to exit 44. South on Black Rock Turnpike (Rt 58) for about one mile. Left at first traffic light onto Tahmore Rd. Straight thru several Stop signs until it comes to a T.
You will see the entrance to the main parking lot across the road.
Drive straight all the way to the end of the lot, then towards the beach. The trail head is marked by a bulletin board.
Dogs must be leashed only within 100 feet of any road or lot.
